About Us

We would love to tell you about the SDA Church

Our church is a member of a worldwide denomination called the Seventh-day Adventist Church which evolved out of the protestant movement. Around the world, we have 23 million members, 175,000 congregations, 170 hospitals, and almost 10,000 educational institutions. We have 28 fundamental beliefs, which include Sola Scriptura (Bible Alone), Sola Gratia (Grace Alone), Sola Fide (Faith Alone), Solus Christus (Christ Alone), and Soli Deo Gloria (To God Alone Be Glory).

We are on the Eastern shore of Hawaii Island, located on the hill above Downtown Hilo with a diverse group of attendees. But we are missing someone, YOU. You will find Christian fellowship, a biblical message, and a welcoming group of people. We look forward to meeting you.

We have many ministries you can be a part of. In fact, we encourage you to ask yourself what you can do for the church and for the community. Your talents can help strengthen the church, uplift others and encourage others to get involved.

Mission

Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.
